(3) What documentation will I receive after purchasing a gravesite?
Answer: You will receive a certificate of ownership and payment receipt. DAT also retains a record of your purchase for access by the DAT Board and DAT Funeral Committee. Please also inform your next of kin that you own a gravesite with DAT.

Gravesite Purchase and Allocation Disclaimer
The selection and purchase of a specific gravesite does not guarantee its availability or suitability at the time of burial. Factors beyond the control of Dar Al Taqwa (DAT) such as the Cemetery’s topographical changes, infrastructure updates, environmental discoveries, regulatory modifications, and other Cemetery operations and issues, may affect site usability.
If a purchased gravesite is deemed unusable at the time of need, DAT will notify the deceased’s authorized family representative of any issues affecting site suitability. DAT will use its best efforts to work with the authorized family representative to find a mutually agreeable solution.
The family will be given a choice of one of the following options before the scheduled burial:
- Receive an alternative gravesite for burial at no additional cost. While DAT will make reasonable efforts to accommodate family preferences, DAT cannot guarantee proximity to other family gravesites or previously selected locations.
- Receive a full refund of the original purchase price. The refund amount will be based on the original purchase price as documented by valid proof of purchase such as payment receipts, credit card statements, copies of checks, etc.
DAT maintains the right to make final determinations on site suitability based on Cemetery conditions and directives. This disclaimer becomes effective upon the purchase of any gravesite and remains binding upon all designated representatives and successors.
