Here at Dar Al-Taqwa School our mission is to educate children on the language of the Qur'an in order for the kids to read and understand the Qur'an better. In addition to learning the Arabic language, your child will learn how to recite the Qur'an with tajweed and memorize various surahs.

Your child will also gain a variety of Islamic knowledge, including Aqeedah, Sunnah, Islamic history (stories of the prophets), and how to pray. The program is separated into 10 different levels based on age. We accept a wide range of children from age 5 up to age 16.

Sunday school is beneficial for all children, because they learn about Islam in a school setting and interact with other Muslim children. Sunday school is a place where kids can feel a part of the Muslim community.
